Braeburn apple
2 pieces
peeled and cut into thin slices

Apple juice
500 mL
Vanilla flavored pudding powder
38 g
Cream
200 g
1st cake layer
Pour four fifths of the
Apple juice
into a pot.
Add a tenth of the
Sugar
to the juice.
Boil up the juice.
While the juice is warming up, pour the
Vanilla flavored pudding powder
into the remainder of the
Apple juice
and mix thoroughly.
Add the pudding juice mixture to the boiling up juice in the pot. Mix thoroughly to prevent lumps.
Let the mixture cool down.
prepare the dough
Mix a quarter of the
Eggs
with a bit less than half of the
Sugar
and all of the
Butter
.
Add the
All purpose flour
and
Baking soda
into the mix. Mix thoroughly.
Spread the dough in a greased baking dish.
Distribute the
Braeburn apple
pieces on the dough.
Pour the previously prepared juice layer over the prepared dough with the apple pieces.
Put the baking dish into the oven for 30 minutes at 160°C of recirculating heat.
2nd cake layer
For the remaining
Eggs
, separate the egg yellow from the egg white.
Beat the egg white until it becomes foamy. Let it sit for a bit.
Mix the egg yellow with the remaining
Sugar
and whip it until it is foamy.
Add the
Cream
to the egg yellow and mix thoroughly.
Finally, add the beaten egg white and mix again.
Distribute the meringue on the cake and bake for another 20 minutes.
